McBride is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of cleaning/hygiene products. We have 14 factories located in Europe and Asia. You will be part of the Unit Dosing division that produces dishwashing tablets. As our Product Development Engineer, you will be an important person in ensuring that we develop high standards in our products.
You will work with a fun, international team of skilled colleagues on exciting projects in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

You will take part in the entire development process
As a Product Development Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring that McBride’s products always live up to high standards. You will be working closely with in- and external stakeholders on developing the products in demand. The role requires a high level of technical knowledge, personnel management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Further responsibilities include:

Develop and optimise products. Main topics are:

Run various development projects linked with customers.

Research about new innovative raw materials
-
Conduct benchmarking on specific markets.

Work & report progression with the Formulation Manager to ensure the highest level of support for internal and external stakeholders.

Report progression of projects to internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure the proposed solution meet both technical, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements from McBride and third-party customers.

Work in collaboration with the Lab Technicians/Chemist to follow up on projects.

Contact with raw material suppliers for the tablet application and feedback the Unit Dosing team on findings.
Expected 1-2 travel days every 3 months (for suppliers, meet colleagues in Luxemburg, customers, etc.)
Chemical engineer with some experience
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated candidate with, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field (diplomingeniør), knowledge of regulations and compliance, and excellent project and personnel management skills.
If you have some experience in product development and knowledge about inorganic, organic or enzymes, it would be an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency in English is essential. Furthermore, being able to communicate well in Danish is an advantage.
